Davante Davis picked up his latest scholarship offer from Cincinnati, making this second offer with many others showing interest. The cornerback missed the first three games for Booker T. Washington HS (Miami, FL) due to an ankle injury. Through injury Davis would finish the season with 35 tackles, four interceptions and six pass break ups.
Davis 6-foot-2, 180-pounds size and athletic ability is something that Cincinnati likes in the prospect. He's a player that can and will make the big plays on defense. Davis knows to receive a scholarship from UC means something.
"To me it means a lot for them to offer me all the way from Ohio. How much interest they have shown," Davis said about the offer.
Davis holds another offer from Florida Atlantic but says the recruiting process has been picking up a lot lately. Going into his senior year he knows there are things he wants to work on to continue to put his name out there.
"Heading into my senior season I want to improve my technique and not just play off talent like this pass season."
