Howe Ready to visit Bearcats

One of the expected visitors for Saturday's spring game is Ohio defensive lineman Kraig Howe of Kettering Alter High School. Bearcat Insider spoke with Howe about his upcoming visit.

As Cincinnati looks at local talent in the 2015 recruiting class, one name now starting to get some play is Kettering Alter defensive lineman Kraig Howe. The 6-foot-3, 255-pound defender already holds a solid offer list and is looking to add the Bearcats.

"I've really been starting to get in contact with Coach (Jeff) Koonz," said Howe. "A couple of weeks ago, we were able to talk about the programs beliefs and Coach Koonz has really wanted to get me down there to visit."

From the sound of things one of the Bearcats newest coaches has caught Howe's attention.

"He seemed like a really good guy when I talked with him on the phone," continued Howe. "So I'm excited to meet him and the rest of the coaching staff. Cincinnati is a school close to home so that is an option as well. They are a really good program as well, so I'm really excited to get down there for the spring game."
