Boose Ready To Be A Bearcat

Tuesday found another top Cincinnati target making the call and pledging to the Bearcats. Bearcat Insider spoke with running back Taylor Boose about his decision.

The 2015 recruiting class continues to grow for the Cincinnati Bearcats and Clifton (Va.) Centreville High running back Taylor Boose is the newest member of the class.

"A couple of my other teammates have been starting to make their decisions," explained Boose. "So I really started to think about it and felt Cincinnati was my best option. Honestly, I really like Cincinnati as I visited about a month ago. So I think I just decided to make my decision sooner than later."

Not only did Boose like the surroundings of the urban environment, but was sold on two main parts of what the university had to offer him.

"Definitely the campus," he said. "I really like the campus. I also got a chance to sit down with a couple of the coaches when I visited and really got to know them better. I really like the coaches and that had a lot to do with my decision."

Leading the way for the Bearcats was main recruiter Robert Prunty and Bearcats offensive coordinator Eddie Gran.

"Coach Prunty is a cool guy and I really like him," he continued. "I got to meet him twice when he came into my school and then again when I went to campus.

"I just called Coach Gran to tell him I felt I wanted to jump onboard and he was excited about it and said he was really glad I was making this decision."

What should Bearcat fans expect out of the 6-foot, 200-pound back?

"I can tell you I'm going to work as hard as I can at whatever the coaches want me to do and my hard work will speak for itself," he said.
