Last season Rod Moore played in 11 games but only got a chance to carry the ball four times out of the backfield using his talents on special teams. This season the Bastrop (La.) native is working to help others get better.
“It’s just great competition and makes everybody better,” said Moore. “Being around great player’s everyday makes you a better player. The young players have to learn to watch film and just look up to the older guys to learn what to do.”
One thing Moore and his teammates are happy about is returning to campus.
“It feels great to be back on campus and practicing,” he said. “We’re just trying to get better as we have another two weeks before our first game. So we’re just trying to get better every day.”
