The Cincinnati Bearcats will quickly turn around and play on Thursday night in a tough road match-up with Memphis.

How will injuries hurt Cincinnati as they have a quick turnaround game against the Memphis Tigers on national television on Thursday night? Bearcat Insider takes a look at what might keep the Bearcats from moving to 3-1 on the season.

Cincinnati got into a brawl with Miami Ohio on Saturday with multiple players leaving the contest with injuries that included the loss of Adrian Witty for the season and quarterback Gunner Kiel being listed as day-to-day.

The loss of Witty is a huge loss in experience in the Bearcats secondary making it important for the Bearcats to find replacements quickly with Memphis coming up on Thursday night.

Gunner Kiel was first reported to have a head injury but on Tuesday, Cincinnati head coach Tommy Tuberville said Kiel’s injury was more shoulder and that he practice some on Monday.

Add in injuries to Idarius Ray at right guard and running back Mike Boone nursing an ankle issue and you can see why many will not give Cincinnati much of a chance to beat the Tigers on their own turf.
