South Warren High (KY) 2019 defensive lineman Jacob Lacey adds Cincinnati to the board

South Warren High (KY) 2019 defensive lineman Jacob Lacey picked up an offer from the Bearcats. Only a freshman Lacey is a kid on a lot of team’s radars. Bearcat Insider was able to speak with Lacey about his recent offer.

Jacob Lacey is 6’1” and 290 lbs, and he is currently a freshman at South Warren High, but at that stature he is picking up steam as one of the higher ranked players in Kentucky no matter the current class. Bearcat Insider was able to speak with the young prospect about his current offers and his excitement about receiving them.

Lacey speaks on the excitement of receiving Cincinnati offer.

“It was kind of out of the blue, I like Cincinnati, I actually didn’t even know they were down at the school that day and went they called me down I was in shock like wow, that’s crazy,” said Lacey.

The Bearcats receiver coach stopped down to Lacey’s school to extend the offer in person.

Lacey tells BCI what camps he plans on hitting this summer.

“I have the Rivals camp coming up and few different school camps lined up,” said Lacey.

Lacey has offers from Eastern Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee and Cincinnati. All of his offers have been on the defensive side of the ball. He plans on playing on the defensive side of the ball at the next level unless he hits another growth spurt height wise then he might have to go over the pros and cons of playing either side of the line.

BCI will be keeping tabs on Lacey so make sure you stay locked in to Bearcat Insider.
