Jaylan Franklin currently stands at 6’5” and 190 lbs, he is listed as an athlete currently because of his many skills you it is possible you will see him lined up at receiver, quarterback, safety or outside linebacker. A kid with his talents will definitely keep picking up steam for from the top dogs in Division I football. This summer Franklin will be heading into his junior season.
Franklin talks about offers he’s received a few teams that have shown interest.
“Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Kentucky, Toledo and Minnesota have offered,” said Franklin. “I believe Florida State and Michigan State are showing interest in me.”
“I was excited to receive the Cincinnati offer, I was shocked, but coach Nick Grimes was the one to come to my school and offer me,” said Franklin.
“I’ve been getting all of my offers as an athlete, but I’d rather play quarterback or receiver, if I go defense it would be outside linebacker or safety,” said Franklin.
Franklin on the camps he’s attending this summer.
“I’m going to try to get to every school that offered me and try to attend a few of the school that are showing me interest so it should be a pretty busy summer,” said Franklin.
Franklin has visited Michigan State, Eastern Michigan and Toledo so far, but that list is about to grow soon.
Franklin talks about the excitement of Matt Harmon getting offers also.
“It makes it more enjoyable when you are doing it with your friend, he’s been one of my close friends for a while he’s kind of like my brother it means a lot that we are both getting the same amount of exposure,” said Franklin.
