Bearcats first to offer tackle out of Trinity Valley Juco (TX)

The Cincinnati Bearcats offered offensive tackle Blake Yager over the weekend. Yager is playing at Trinity Valley Juco in Texas. After visiting this weekend Bearcat Insider got to talk with Yager about his visit.

After visiting the Bearcats campus this weekend Trinity Valley (TX) lineman left with his first division I offer. Blake Yager was pretty stoked about being offered by the Bearcats.

Yager stands at 6’6” and weighs 290 lbs. He fits the mold of the offensive tackle prototype.

Yager talks about Bearcats offer and visit.

“It was really cool, very detailed visit, I enjoyed the coaches and at the end it was exciting overall,” said Yager. “I got to meet the coaches Nick (Grimes), JB (Grimes, Tommy and Zac.”

“I was super excited to be offered by Cincinnati,” said Yager.

Yager doesn’t have any visits set up, but now that Cincinnati has offered other schools are starting to take notice so things could change before August. Yager wants to pick which program he will finish his college career before August so this will be a story we will revisit very soon because of the timeline that he has set for himself.

After speaking with Yager he has picked up his second offer (University of Louisiana Monroe). Steam is picking up for the big fella and Bearcat Insider will keep you in the loop on what is going on with him and the process so make sure you stay locked in at BCI.

He plans on hitting the Baylor camp in the summer, but not much else as he gets ready for the season in hand.
