Bearcat Insider speaks with the Bearcats newest commit running back Jaelen Greene

Last Saturday, Sandy Creek (GA) 2017 running back Jaelen Greene committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats. Greene is the first running back to commit to the 2017 class and he spared BCI a few minutes on why he committed to UC.

When Jaelen Greene committed we got in contact with him, but because of how busy the weekend was we didn’t get to have an in depth conversation with the running back. So later in the week we were able to rap with the Sandy Creek running back.

Greene speaks on committing to UC.

“Coming into the weekend I kind of knew I was going to commit,” said Greene.

“The visit, campus and talking to the coaches sealed the deal for me,” said Greene.

“I see myself as a perfect for the program,” said Greene. “The offensive coordinator came from the Miami Dolphins (OC Coach Taylor) that’s a plus and he sat me down and showed me how he was going to be using me and I feel in love with how they are going to be using me.”

“I didn’t know I was going to commit this early, but it is something I wanted to handle before the season started,” said Greene.

Greene speaks on who were his top three.

“Oregon State, Cincinnati and Tulane,” said Greene.

Also Greene plans on enrolling early so Bearcat Nation will see him on campus starting in January. This is something him and his family feels would be a great move for him. BCI looks forward to covering Greene during his tenure at UC. For more information about the Bearcats make sure you stay locked in.
