Walk-on wide receiver Brayden Beard has caught the attention of Cincinnati head coach Tommy Tuberville during preseason camp.

Don't be fooled by Cincinnati Bearcats wide receiver Brayden Beard's size or the fact he's currently a walk-on for the Bearcats. The former IMG Academy wide receiver has caught the eye of Tommy Tuberville and Bearcat Insider looked to learn more about the Texas native.

When looking at Cincinnati Bearcats redshirt freshman wide receiver Brayden Beard the first thing you notice is his red hair and stature.  At a listed 5-foot-8, 180-pounds, Beard would not be a player the average observer would pick out of the crowd as a player to catch the eyes of Bearcats head coach Tommy Tuberville.  However, Beard caught Tuberville's eye last season prior to an injury that took away his season.

Now back, Beard is again catching Tuberville's eye and Bearcat Insider wanted to learn more about the surprise of this Bearcats camp.
