This is a step in the right direction. I personally wonder how fast these are going to sell, who doesn't love luxury suites? I'll be even happier once Fifth Third Arena is renovated.
Fans visiting the University of Cincinnati’s Fifth Third Arena this fall will have the opportunity to take part in a new premium seating experience for the 2016-17 season.
The addition of four luxury suites on the sixth floor of the arena is the first phase of an $87-million renovation of the 26-year old venue which will kick off in earnest following the close of the 2016-17 basketball season.
The suites are being constructed on the sixth floor of the arena, which formerly housed the UCATS Club. The 18-seat suites will overhang the north baseline of the court.
Each suite is ADA accessible and features granite countertops, a flat-screen television, along with custom cabinets and furniture. Suite holders will receive four parking passes and also have access to a private lounge and restrooms on the sixth floor.
Each suite will require a commitment of $40,000 a year for 10 years, plus a per ticket cost.
