Head Coach

The Skyhawks head coach is Jason Simpson. Simpson has been the head man at UT Martin for the last 10 seasons. During his tenure the Skyhawks have had a 65-49 record overall and a 51-30 record against Ohio Valley Conference opponents.

Simpson is a legend in the OVC as he ranks ninth in overall wins with 65 and eight with conference wins at 51.

Special Teams

The Skyhawks kicker Mitch Mersman will be the main option and manning the punter position will be Brett Arkelian. Mersman and Arkelian will be new faces for this unit as Jackson Redditt was the kicker and punter last season.

The main kick returners will be Tae Martin and Marquez Grayson. Martin averaged 18.5 yard per kick return last season. Grayson didn’t have a role in the kicking game last season.

The main punt returner will be Londell Lee, last season Lee wasn’t the main punt returner.

This was a quick dive into Cincinnati’s opponent, if you can’t make it to the game on Thursday might make sure you watch them on ESPN 3 at 7 pm.
