Middle linebacker Sid Fox enjoys Bearcats season opening victory

High school senior Sid Fox from East Central High school was able to watch the Bearcats defeat UT-Martin this past Thursday. And Bearcat Insider was able to speak with him to see how his visit went.

Sid Fox, a senior linebacker from East Central High School paid another visit to Clifton this past week. Fox has yet to receive an offer from Cincinnati, but he is really impressed with the Bearcats academics and football program and could see himself calling Clifton home.

His visit to Cincinnati went really well. "The atmosphere was great," said Fox"and everyone was really nice." Thursday wasn't his first time visiting Cincinnati, since he lives close, him and his family are able to visit often. Receiving an offer from Cincinnati would mean the world to him.

Of course Fox would love to receive an offer from Cincinnati, but in the meantime he has business to handle on and off the field. Being named to 2nd team 2016 Preseason All-TSF Team, he has a big chip on his shoulder. His team's season has been going well winning two games and recently losing a tough game to Lasalle. But he's ready to bounce back from that lost and win some more games. Whichever university he ends up at, Fox plans to study either something in the medical field or engineering. "I just want a real good job, making money," says Fox.

Fox has been in contact with Coach Koonz and hopes to soon receive that offer letter in the mail. We here at Bearcat Insider wish Sid Fox the best of luck!
