Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier junior defensive end Blake Bacevich had a great time during his visit at Cincinnati

Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier junior defensive end Blake Bacevich really enjoyed the atmosphere in Nippert Stadium. Bacevich was able to watch the Bearcats take on the Houston Cougars in a huge nationally televised match up. Check out what he had to say about his visit.

Bearcat Insider: How did your visit go?

Bacevich: "It was really cool. The atmosphere  at the game was awesome. I was really impressed by them talking about the whole program. I was really impressed with the dorms that they give the freshman, it was neat how nice those were. It was a really cool environment."

Bearcat Insider: What would receiving an offer from Cincinnati mean to you?

Bacevich: "It would mean a great deal to me. Both of my grandparents went to Cincinnati, they're huge fans, they go to basically every single home game. It would mean a lot because I would have the opportunity to play in front of them and my whole family. It would mean a great deal to have the opportunity to be a Bearcat."

Bearcat Insider: How is your season at St. Xavier going?

Bacevich: "It's good, we started off the season playing the #1 team in the country. That was a really cool experience. I went against the best offensive lineman in the country, so I learned a lot from that. That was my first game playing defensive end, I played linebacker last year, so that was a really good learning experience. We played Colerain in Week 2 and they are #4 in the country I think now and we went into overtime with them. It was a bummer we lost that game, we should have won. The next two games we pulled out a wins. I had a really good game this past Friday and the team played well. We play Moeller this upcoming week, so that will be a huge game."

Bearcat Insider: Have you been in contact with any coaches from Cincinnati?

Bacevich: "Coach Taylor has communicated with me a good amount, he was at our Colerain game. He's in charge of recruiting for our school, I believe."
