Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain junior wide receiver, Javon Hicks was very impressed with his experience at Nippert. He was able to witness an energetic student section and watch the Bearcats take on the No. 6 ranked Houston Cougars in a nationally televised game. Bearcat Insider spoke with Hicks about his visit, check out what he had to say.

Bearcat Insider: How did your visit go Thursday?

Hicks: "It went well. I really liked the game atmosphere, I think the coaches are very cool, it was a great experience. I really liked how the student section was, they were very lively. The alumni comes back, which seems like a nice thing."

Bearcat Insider: What coaches have you been in contact with so far?

Hicks: "I've been in contact with Zac Taylor."

Bearcat Insider: Has Cincinnati offered you yet and do you have any other offers?

Hicks: "Cincinnati hasn't offered me yet and I don't have any other offers. I am hoping to receive one soon."

Bearcat Insider: What would receiving an offer from Cincinnati mean to you?

Hicks: "Receiving an offer would mean a lot to my family, making sure they don't have to come out of pocket and me going to college for free would be huge for all of us."

Bearcat Insider: How is your season going so far?

Hicks: "We're undefeated right now, so we are trying to keep that going. We're #1 in the state and I believe we are ranked #5 in the nation."
