Mick Cronin was happy to let his Bearcats play Red & Black scrimmage

Cincinnati Bearcats Men's basketball head coach Mick Cronin spoke after his team finished their annual Red & Black scrimmage. Check out what Cronin had to say.

Cincinnati Bearcats head coach Mick Cronin spoke after the Red team beat the Black team 68-60. Junior forward Kyle Washington led all scorers with 24 points, he showed off the complete game from quick post moves, face up game, solid handle for a big man and even three point range.

Jarron Cumberland (ankle)didn't play just to be cautious, as well as Jacob Evans (foot). Cronin stated both weren't serious, so both squads had five players.

Black Team: Quadri Moore, Justin Jenifer, Tre Scott, Cane Broome, Nysier Brooks

Red Team: Troy Caupain, Gary Clark, Kyle Washington, Kevin Johnson, Zack Tobler

The Bearcats survived a scare as Justin Jenifer had a nice "and 1" finish, but hit his head on the floor causing the game pretty much going to five on four mode for about five minutes.

For those who haven't seen transfer guard Cane Broome play, I know you have to wait a year, but he is pretty good. I'm excited to see how he looks after a year in the system.
