Class of 2017 Cincinnati Bearcats commit Jaelen Greene talks about his experience in Cincinnati this past weekend

Bearcat Insider was able to catch up with Cincinnati Bearcats commit Jaelen Greene out of Sandy Creek (GA) and talk with him about his unofficial visit this past Saturday in Cincinnati. Greene was the first running back to commit to the 2017 class. In his exclusive one-on-one he talks about his experience at the game and much more.

Bearcat Insider: How was your visit this past Saturday?

Greene: "My visit was great, I loved it. The atmosphere was great at the game, I was able to hang with some of the players which was great. Overall it was a great visit and I loved it! Watching the team win was good to see.

Bearcat Insider: What other programs besides Cincinnati offered you?

Greene: "I had about 20 offers, but my top schools were Marshall, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, and Boise State."

Bearcat Insider: What made you choose Cincinnati?

Greene: "I chose Cincinnati because I loved the coaches, the way they treat me is really great. I love the campus, it is beautiful and huge. I like the city of Cincinnati and the opportunity that I am going to have there is great. It's going to help me get to the league and I'm majoring in sports marketing and I know that program is really good."

Bearcat Insider: What do you feel you'll bring to the Bearcats' offense?

Greene: "I'm very powerful, my work ethic is very good. I work very hard during the off season, so my game changes every year, I get better at something every year. I think I have all the tools to bring Cincinnati with my hard work and work ethic and what I have now. I think I am going to bring a lot to Cincinnati's power and speed. I can run fast, I have very good foot work, and I have very good vision. Their offense will fit me good, because it's a zone offense and you have to have very good vision for that kind of offense. I think i'll fit the program very well."

Bearcat Insider: Do you know any of the players currently on the team?

Greene: "I have a great relationship with Kahlil Lewis, also with running backs Mike Boone and Tion Green."

Bearcat Insider: What coach or coaches are you most in contact with?

Greene: "Coach Blake Rolan because he was the recruiter for our area."

Bearcat Insider looks forward to covering Jaelen Greene during his time at Cincinnati. Make sure you all stay locked in for more information about the up and coming Bearcats.
