All signs are pointing to Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell becoming the next Cincinnati football coach

Currently the Cincinnati Bearcats are searching for a new head football coach and reports are saying the athletic director Mike Bohn has zeroed in on his target.

Multiple reports are saying that it is a high possibility that Ohio State Buckeyes Co-Defensive Coordinator Luke Fickell will be the @Cincinnati Bearcats next head coach. Nothing is supposed to be final tonight, but within the next 24-72 hours something should be final. Sources have told Bearcat Insider that Fickell has reached out to multiple people about joining his staff. The last two days have been a frenzy on Bearcat Twitter, but for those who don't know much about the possible next head coach we are going to put some information up about his background.

Fickell also played one year in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints and was the interm head coach at Ohio State after "Tattoogate" where he led them to a 6-7 overall record and a Gator Bowl loss. To be fair anybody would've struggled following "Tattoogate" because of the talent that left because of the situation.
