Career game by Quadri Moore pushes Cincinnati past Tulane, 78-61

No. 20 Cincinnati Bearcats traveled down to New Orleans, Louisiana to play the Tulane Green Wave for an American Athletic Conference battle.

The Cincinnati Bearcats beat the Tulane Green Wave 78-61, Saturday afternoon. It was a homecoming game for Jacob Evans who was saddled in the first half with two fouls in two minutes, but in the second half he was able to finish the game on the floor which allowed him to lead the team in scoring with 15 points. The wildcard of Saturday was the great play of Quadri Moore with Gary Clark, Nysier Brooks and Kyle Washington carrying two fouls, Moore took advantage of his playing time scoring 11 of his career high 14 points in the first half. Moore was 4 of 5 from the field and 3 of 3 from behind the arc. Clark and Moore tied for the team lead in rebounds with 6.

The Bearcats are now 17-2 overall and 7-0 in the AAC.

Thursday they will face the Xavier Musketeers at 7 pm for the Crosstown Shootout and it will be aired on ESPN 2.
