FOOTBALL NEWS FROM THE CROSSTOWN

The Bearcat Football coaches were busy taking care of the top prospects who came to the Crosstown Shootout. While the Bearcats were big winners on the court, several prospects looked for big news off it.

Bearcat Insider has learned that Cincinnati Bearcat Coach Mark Dantonio and his staff were very busy during the Crosstown Shootout. While many came to watch the Bearcats basketball team defeat Xavier on the court, the football staff was busy taking care of their own business.

Bearcat Insider has learned tonight that Springboro High School (Springboro, Ohio) prospect Jacob Ballard was offered during Thursday nights Junior Night.

Ballard who's already been offered by Boston College and Miami of Ohio is a two sport star who's still playing basketball.

Standing 6'7 255 lbs. Ballard plays tight end and defensive end in high school. While he's a top prospect at each of these positions many also feel he could grow into a high quality offensive lineman.

Bearcat Insider will try and contact Jacob about his offer from the Bearcats.
