If the eyes of this prospect for the Class of 2006 look familiar, they should. He soon could be following his famous Bearcat brother to the campus of UC.

Don't look now, there is another Guidugli looking to become a Bearcat. Ben Guidugli may share the last name of his famous Bearcat brother, but he's got his own list of accomplishments to be proud of.

Standing 6'2 and weighing almost 200 lbs. Ben looks a lot like his brother. But while Gino has the golden arm, Ben has the soft hands and blocking ability to help make quarterbacks look good.

On junior night the younger Guidugli was in attendance with father Dave. Both Guidugli's took in the sights and sounds from a great Bearcat basketball victory. But the main reason for their visit was to start the recruiting process for Ben.

In talking with Dave Guidugli, he had nothing but positive things to say about the Bearcat football staff and the job they did with his son Gino. Mr. Guidugli wanted to let Gino's fans know he's in Louisiana working hard preparing for the NFL Combine.

Note* Bearcat Insider will be speaking with Gino very soon about his future and the NFL Draft.

The one thing I noticed watching Ben during the evening, was how comfortable he was with the Bearcat coaches and with himself. He knows he's not his brother and has to earn everything on his own.

This past year saw Ben catch 16 passes for 363 yards and six touchdowns for Highlands High School (KY).

While the recruiting process is still early, Ben Guidugli is a name to keep an eye on.
