Quality Walk-on

Quality offensive linemen who will have a chance to earn playing time by his second season.  Can play all positions along the line, great job by the Bearcat staff to get this kid.

The Bearcats also recently pick-up a preferred walk-on in the person of Steve Huff of Lakota West.  Steven is a 6'6" 300 pound offensive lineman from Lakota West.  Steven was all set to sign with Akron, and then 3 days before national letter of intent day, Akron informed him that he wasn't going to get the scholarship.

Steven attended today's practice and commented on his decision to attend UC.  "I chose UC because it's close to home.  My goal is to earn a scholarship, and I thought this was my best chance.  I want to work hard and prove myself.  When asked about his position, he replied, "I played center in high school but I think I'd be best at tackle."
