While things have been quiet on the Bearcats football recruiting efforts, Bearcat Insider has learned Madison Southern High School (Kentucky) tight-end/ defensive end Luke Stocker has been offered by the Bearcats coaching staff.
The talented Stocker has seen interest rise over the past three months and holds offers from Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Louisville, Clemson, NC State, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Duke, Kentucky and the University of Cincinnati.
In a previous article written by Rob Gidel of the Kentucky Sports Report, Stocker's step-father Jeff Johnson said the following.
"He's 6'6 and he's not even 17 yet," Johnson answered. "He's about 221-222 pounds already and he was recently timed at 4.71 in the forty yard dash. He bench presses 285 pounds, squats over 300 and hand cleats 265 pounds. He's just a tremendous athlete with good feet and great hand eye coordination."
Bearcat Insider is working on getting in contact with Luke to find out his interest in the Bearcats. One of latest honors Luke earned was to be named to the Kentucky "Tremendous 26". Stocker and other top players from the Bluegrass state gathered on May 15th for a photo session and luncheon.
