Although he has no offers, that does not discourage him at all. "I'm just going to go to the camps and do the best I can do." "If the coaches like what they see they'll offer." "All I have control over is my performance at camps."
Thus far his camp scores have been off the chart. "I ran a 4.41 forty at Cincinnati and a 4.38 forty at Bowling Green." "I also worked at wide receiver and running back as well as defensive back at Bowling Green."
So what is the most important factor in his decision? "For me its all football, but my parents are most interested in the academics."
So what school(s) is he most interested? "Of all the schools I would say that Cincinnati is my number one right now." "They have the best campus of all the schools I have seen." "The coaching staff is real intense, more so than Vanderbilt or Bowling Green." "Coach Narduzzi is great; I want to play for a coach like him."
We also had a chance to speak with Lisa Babbaro, Angelo's mother, "My husband and I thought the coaching staff was phenomenal. I would love to see my son play at Cincinnati." "The coaches were very family oriented and that's very important to us."
Though some will see him small in stature (5'10" 180). Many will realize that his speed and athleticism allows him to make plays all over the field. With his speed he will be able to be an instant contributor on special teams.
Babbaro lists, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Vanderbilt, Princeton, Illinois, and Kentucky as schools of interest.
