Royce Adams: Bearcats in the Mix

Royce Adams checked in about his current offers, and what schools he is looking at currently. Will Cincinnati be in mix for one of ohio's top prospects.

Royce Adams, 5'11" 170 4.48, defensive back from Cleveland Glenville (Ohio). Checked in with today to let us know, where he was at in his recruiting process. "I have offers from Cincinnati, Iowa, Michigan State, North Carolina, Bowling Green, Miami (Oh), Kent State, Akron, and there are two others I don't remember."

Adams had been on the Ted Ginn Sr. camp tour extravaganza that has been crossing the Midwest and that has recently ended. But this does not stop Adams from going to see more schools. "I am going to Eastern Michigan for a team camp tomorrow, and some seniors are getting together and going to North Carolina and Syracuse as well."

So where does Cincinnati look to be in his list of offers? "They are in my top five for sure." Adams also said in that top five included; Iowa, North Carolina, Michigan State and Ohio State. "I am very comfortable with UC, they have great coaches, and being in the Big East they now have a chance to play for a BCS bowl."

So what are the most important factors in choosing his school? "I want to major in business so they must have a good program, and I am also looking at the facilities along with coaching." I want to be in a nice place, and I will also look at past recruiting classes to see if they have brought in quality players." "I would prefer to be an established program, but I would consider if it was the right one."

"A school needs to let me know that they are looking for me to be a leader and a go-to-guy." "Communication is crucial, they need to be open and honest and build a good relationship."
