We have the latest information on one of the Midwest top linebacker prospects who's showing great interest in the Bearcats.

Although no offers are yet on the table for this physical middle linebacker from Farmington, Missouri, there continues to be interest. Louisville has requested film of Tyler Epstein, and Indiana University wants Tyler to return to Bloomington this summer for a mini-camp. When Tyler attended the Hoosier camp in early June, he had driven from Miami of Ohio's camp and ran the 40 yard dash on artificial turf in gym shoes after having only four hours of sleep. The new Hoosier staff apparently wants a second look, possibly after hearing about Epstein's impressive 4.31 shuttle run at Iowa's camp.

As more schools evaluate Tyler, his father, Larry, (who attended college on a soccer scholarship) continues to sing the praises of the Bearcat coaching staff. "We really like the Cincinnati staff. All those guys are very impressive."

Tyler Epstein attended the Iowa camp with Colerain High School's Tyler Moeller. If these two playmaking linebackers were to attend the same university, that school may have to borrow the Army's phrase for Blanchard and Davis of "Mr. Inside and Mr. Outside." Both linebackers share a nose for the football and the ability to make plays.
