Tyler Moeller: Thinking Bearcats

Tyler Moeller one of Ohio's top prospects checks in with Scout.com And discussed his recruting thus far.

Tyler Moeller, (6'1", 205, 4.50) the highly recruited outside linebacker from Colerain H.S. (Ohio). Has already piled up ten offers to date, Moeller checks in with Scout.com to update us on his recruitment thus far.

"I have offers from Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Miami (OH), Kent State, Ohio, Eastern Michigan, and Akron."

Moeller lists his favorites as Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Iowa, Louisville, and Miami (OH).

Thus far he has only seen Cincinnati and Miami's campus, but is currently in Blacksburg Virginia and will be in Iowa on Thursday. "After that I only have to go down to see Louisville." "Then I can make my decision." "According to Moeller that decision will come before the season. "I want to focus on our senior year at Colerain." "We are the defending state champions so everyone is gunning for us."

The most important factor in Moeller's decision will be the feel he gets when he's on campus from each school.

One of Moeller's favorites is the hometown Bearcats. Moeller had a few comments about UC. "I really like the coaches, and their move to the Big East is a really big step, and they play top level college football."

Given the Bearcats history with Colerain Cardinals, they may have the inside track with Moeller. With former Cardinals such as former fan favorite Doug Monahan, and of course the three from the class of 2005. "Having Goody, Andre Revels, and Byrd down there is a big plus, that and UC is about 3 minutes from my house." "I would love to play with them again; they are some of the best teammates I have ever had."

Moeller compares himself to the other linebackers in Ohio. "Even thought I am a little undersized I am quicker than most of the linebackers in Ohio." "I'll put Cobrani Mixon and myself up against any linebackers in Ohio."

Moeller is a hybrid outside linebacker/strong safety. Who could bulk up to a linebacker or move back to safety. In my opinion he, along with Mixon are two of the top linebackers in Ohio

We will certainly have more from one of the top players in Southwest Ohio.
