With preseason camp just a few weeks away, one Bearcat has chose not to stay with the team. We also give you the latest on talk about another Bearcat who was said to be in academic trouble.

Bearcat Insider has learned one of the team's better underclassmen has left the team.

Scott Chillinsky, a 6'0 180lb. strong safety from Centerville High School (Centerville, Ohio) who redshirted during his freshman campaign (2004/2005) has left the team. The move has surprised many because Chillinsky enjoyed a very impressive spring and placed himself into the Bearcats depth chart rotation at both safety positions entering preseason camp.

Reasons for Chillinsky leaving the team are not known and Bearcat Insider will try and contact Scott for more about his sudden departure from the team.

People have been asking about the status of Anthony Hoke this fall. Somehow talk has been that Hoke wouldn't be able to dress for the Bearcats because of problems in the classroom. Several sources have told Bearcat Insider that Hoke is doing well and in no problem of not helping the Bearcats defense this fall.

Also at this time there has been no official word on the status of any of the incoming class of players. While it's believed Curtis Smith and Derrick Stewart may come up short of reaching NCAA regulations, no official word has been released by the university.
