UC Prospect Out For Season

Having camped at several schools and seeing interest from several more, this star linebacker will miss the rest of his senior season.

Tyler Epstein of Farmington High School injured his knee this weekend on the second play of the game against Windsor High School. An MRI revealed a tear of the MCL, but the meniscus and ACL appear to be in tact. Epstein was rated the #2 linebacker in Tim Graeff's St. Louis High School Magazine.

Epstein had gotten off to a great start by recording 27 tackles and a touchdown in Farmington's first 2 games of the season. The star linebacker of the #3 rated team in Missouri in Class 4 is expecting to be fully recovered in 3-5 months and return in time for wrestling. The three time state qualifier plans to move up to the heavyweight division this winter.

Tyler has received attention from Cincinnati as well as Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Northern Illinois, Miami, Oh., Arkansas State and Southern Illinois.
