Update: Linebacker Tyler Epstein

Bearcat Insider checks in Tyler Epstein, linebacker prospect for the Bearcats.

As the recruiting season continues, one guy that I've become very familiar with continues to fight his way back from season ending knee surgery. Because of Tyler Epstein's diligent rehab, his doctor is now projecting that Tyler will return for wresting season by January.

Cincinnati continues to call the Epstein's and Coach Staten has earned their respect according to Larry Epstein, Tyler's father. "Coach Staten really cares and has told Tyler that he would like nothing more than to get Tyler there."

Another person to take an interest in Tyler's recovery is Cleveland Browns' punter, Kyle Richardson. Richardson is a Farmington, Missouri native and has already invited Tyler to join him in Atlanta this summer for agility training.

Tyler Epstein may not be able to help his Farmington High School teammates continue their march to a state championship, but the young man has certainly shown his character in dealing with his MCL/ACL knee injury.
