Bearcat Insider checked with Sabbath Joseph this evening (Monday) and got the latest update on his recruitment. The three star linebacker from Miami Central High School visited Arizona State this weekend and reported having an enjoyable time at the Tempe campus with one exception. "I enjoyed myself, but I'm not that big of a flying guy. The flight was six hours."
When asked to rank his final schools, Sabbath made it clear that the decision is becoming very difficult. "I've been sitting down and trying to look at each school after my visit. If I had to pick one right now, it would probably be South Florida. I'm not a verbal, but I'm leaning that way right now."
Sabbath admits that his academics need some work, but he's been spending extra time in that area. "I'm taking some classes at another high school, and I'm taking the SAT this weekend."
As we ended our conversation, I asked if I should even bother Sabbath with another phone call later because South Florida would probably be the choice. He replied, "I wouldn't say that."
Bearcat Insider will continue to follow this story and see where Cincinnati ends up.
