After expressing his joy about moving back to the point guard position, University of Cincinnati sophomore guard Doninic Tilford made the choice to leave the Bearcats program and search for a new home.
Last summer before all the happenings around the University of Cincinnati
Men's basketball program, former coach Bob Huggins made a last minute signing to the Bearcats program in Dominic Tilford
. While Tilford had earned some of the highest prep honors in his home state of Kentucky, many in the recruiting world didn't project him as a high level Division One player.
After seeing some playing time on a veteran team last year, Tilford looked to have found himself during summer league play with the newest Bearcats to sign with new head coach Mick Cronin. That all changed on Tuesday as Tilford made it official he wanted to leave the Bearcats program and look for a new home.
In the official release from the University of Cincinnati, Bearcats head coach Mick Cronin wished the guard the best and stated he fully supported Tilford's decision to transfer.
Bearcat Insider would like to wish Dominic the best in his future endeavors.
