Bearcats Showing Heavy Interest

Hoop recruiting is heating up and Bearcat Insider has a name the Bearcats coaching staff is looking hard at. Who is this player? Will a member of the Bearcats staff be making a visit? BCI has all the info.

One thing you know about Mick Cronin and the University of Cincinnati basketball staff is they'll travel across the country to visit recruits they feel could help the program become one of the best in the country.  Who is on their radar?  BCI has the latest.

With coaches hitting the highways of America and college basketball prospects making visits to college campuses, hoops recruiting is heating up and BCI has learned of one prospect the Bearcats staff has their eye on.

Toby Veal has seen interest in his basketball abilities grow recently after enjoying a great summer of AAU basketball.  At 6-7, 210 pounds, Veal brings the body style college coaches crave.  With long arms and a body able to build in a college weight room, Veal has seen interest rise and the Bearcats are one of his suitors.

A forward, Veal has recruiting experts sharpening their pencils looking at raising his ranking from a three-star to a much higher ranked prospect.  A player who can run the floor, jump and has the ability to handle the ball is something University of Cincinnati basketball coach Mick Cronin is sure to be looking for.

Bearcat Insider has learned Veal will be getting a visit from Bearcats assistant coach Larry Davis in the coming weeks.

Veal visited Clemson two weekends ago and reports offers from Tennessee, Miami Fla., and Virginia Tech.  BCI will speak with Veal in the coming days about his interest in the Bearcats program.
