Ohio Linebacker Offered By Bearcats

Over the course of the past several months this Ohio linebacker has performed with the best. Today, the University of Cincinnati pulled the trigger and offered him his first BCS offer. Get the latest information on who this prospect is and more.

Jamiihr Williams has performed with the best during the past several months at combines across the country. Holding offers from Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, Miami Ohio and Eastern Kentucky never seemed to fit the athletic ability shown during his workouts and many felt it was only a matter of time before a BCS program pulled the trigger with an offer. Today Williams received that much deserved BCS offer when the University of Cincinnati texted him to call.

"I received a text message to call coach Forest today at Cincinnati. When I called he informed me that they wanted to officially offer me a scholarship to Cincinnati."

For Williams he joins three other Trotwood-Madison prospects with offers in hand. Does this offer mean more than others?

"We've all talked about playing at the same school. I'm very excited and happy to have received the offer and really like what Cincinnati has. I visited during Junior Day and saw the new nice facilities and really liked the coaches I met while I was there."

For Williams the past five months have seen him enjoy great success on the combine trail. He hopes to continue to impress those he comes across this summer while camping.

"I'll be going on the Ted Ginn Tour and then looking to camp at Michigan and maybe even Pitts camp."

We'll continue to follow Williams as he looks to make a college choice.
