Bearcats Pick Up Number 17

Not only did the Bearcats win Saturday night against Marshall, they also picked up a new commitment for the Class of 2008 to go with their new AP Ranking.

Quincy Quetant (Timber Creek HS – FLA) wasted little time in making his college choice after his visit at the University of Cincinnati this weekend.

"I gave Cincinnati my commitment about an hour ago." Quetant told Bearcat Insider Sunday afternoon.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound receiver/safety prospect is considered one of Central Florida's top prospects and recorded the following numbers his junior season.

Offense: 25 catches, 220 yards, 2 TD's

Defense: 52 tackles, 7 interceptions, 2 TD's

With offers from Buffalo, Iowa State, Kansas, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Indiana to name a few, Quetant becomes the 17-th verbal commitment in the Bearcats Class of 2008.

Projected to be a player on the defensive side of the ball, Bearcat Insider will have more on the newest Bearcat Monday.
