Another Recruit Boards the UC Recruiting Bus

The Cincinnati recruiting bus continues to chug along but made a stop recently to add another player. The recruiting bus is nearing capacity.

Bearcat Insider has reliable information that the University of Cincinnati has added an eighteenth player to its 2008 recruiting class after receiving another verbal commitment recently. Lynell Payne, rated a three star player by from Cherokee High School in Marlton, New Jersey, will join seventeen other high schoolers in choosing Cincinnati as his college destination.

Payne made his official visit to UC the weekend of September 22 along with Florida native Quincy Quetant, who became the seventeenth member of the Bearcat recruiting class when he committed to Cincinnati on his visit. Payne also had reported offers from a number of schools including Connecticut and Clemson. He made official visits to both BCS schools before ultimately deciding on the Bearcats.

The Bearcats recruited the 6' 3"/205 pound Payne as a wide receiver. Bearcat Insider will have further information on this commitment in the coming days.
