As the University of Cincinnati is getting closer to the end of their regular season, Bearcat players are still providing the type of performances needed to earn conference honors. This week senior Haruki Nakamura picked up Big East Conference Defensive Player of the Week Honors.
On Saturday the Bearcats enjoyed eight takeaways in their 38-33 victory over ranked opponent USF. Nakamura played a part in three of those eight takeaways and had a game-high 11 tackles to go with an interception and two forced fumbles.
Bearcat Insider congratulates Haruki for his outstanding performance and this special honor.
