Here we are just a few days away from the end of what has got to be one of the greatest years in the history of the University of Cincinnati. With so many stories surrounding the Bearcats, only a select few make up Bearcat Insiders "Ten Biggest Stories For 2007". Between now and the end of the year we'll release what we feel are the stories that have had a major impact on all things Bearcats.

#10 Biggest Story For 2007

Are you ready for Lacrosse? Lellie Swords hopes Bearcat fans take a liking to the sport she's been part of most of her life. Hired as the first head coach for the newest sport to take residence at the University of Cincinnati, Swords brings a long background in the sport having played and coached the sport at its highest level.

Before coming to Cincinnati, Swords helped build Johns Hopkins into one of the premier women's lacrosse programs in the nation. The Bearcats will take the field in February opening the season in Nashville, Tennessee against Vanderbilt and play their first home game six days later against LeMoyne at Gettler Stadium.

Assistant coaches are Kari Pabis and Megan McLouth.
