Will Ohio's Top Freshman Visit Bearcats?

The player many feel is Ohio's top prospect for the Class of 2011 is already getting interest from several programs. Are the Bearcats one of them?

Ask Colerain head coach Tom Bolden about Braxton Miller the freshman quarterback his Cardinal team faced in their first game this fall against Huber Heights Wayne and he can tell you the game may have went a little different if Miller started the game.

Now move ahead as Miller completed his first season of varsity play and left many asking if he's Ohio's top prospect for 2011.

While 2011 may be a few years away, recruiting has moved up it's time table and Miller has seen several colleges ask Wayne head coach Jay Minton about his star quarterback.

"We get a lot of schools coming through here looking for players and since last fall almost every one of them have asked about Braxton," Said Jay Minton. "In fact if not for his basketball season he might have taken a few visits before now.

Miller who's also a member of the Warriors basketball team that will play Saturday at U.D. Arena may make a visit to Cincinnati on Sunday.

"As of today Braxton plans on being at Cincinnati Sunday along with a few of our other players Cincinnati is looking at to recruit.

For Minton this is nothing new as he's coached a couple high school All-Americans in the past as well as many future college players including Mike Mickens who is at UC now.

We'll have more on Braxton Miller after his visit and on the other members of the Warriors getting interest from the UC staff after Sunday.
