For Chris Snook Sunday was a day he'll remember. While on a visit at the University of Cincinnati he found a school that blew him away and he went home hoping to pick up an official offer from Brian Kelly.
On Tuesday Snook made a call to the Bearcats and was offered a full scholarship. Right after he got off the phone with coach Mike Elston he called Bearcat Insider.
"I just got off the phone with Coach Elston," said Chris Snook with a very excited tone. "Cincinnati has now offered me a scholarship to play football."
With offers from Wake Forest, Akron, West Virginia, Bowling Green and Miami Ohio, Snook knows the process is far from over but he's excited about the chances of picking the Bearcats.
"Cincinnati is the best I've seen so far. I went to Pittsburgh and it's an urban school like Cincinnati but I just wasn't impressed with the way the campus is put together. Cincinnati is just a nice looking campus with everything you need so close. We also have a family friend in the area who showed us around and I really like the city of Cincinnati as well."
While Chris is not ready to pull the trigger he's very excited about being offered by the Bearcats and is looking to set up a visit for a spring practice.
We'll continue to follow Chris in the future to keep track of how his recruiting is going.
