Under The Radar Prospect Looking At Bearcats

In a year with a recruiting class filling up prior to the start of the season one wouldn't think much about a player going under the radar being one of the last to earn a scholarship. But that is what this Indiana prospect is looking at in the coming weeks.

With a couple of teammates getting a lot of the publicity the past few months Brian Fogler hasn't really seen his name come up in much discussions on recruiting sites, but that may soon change as Fogler has caught the eye of a couple of programs and will visit before the end of the month.

"I've been hearing from Cincinnati and Miami Ohio," Fogler told Bearcat Insider. "I've got a lot of interest in Ivy League schools but Cincinnati and Miami have both talked with me about getting a possible scholarship."

Ranked fourth in his class, Fogler knows football is only a small part of ones life and hasn't taken all the recruiting too serious. But at 6-foot-5, 200-pounds with 4.7 speed in the forty he's learned college coaches feel he's got some serious potential at the next level."

"I've not really thought about getting recruited and it's all kind of surprising to me to be honest. I want to study business or chemistry in college and that is more important to me than football. But if I can find a school with the academics I'm looking for and they have interest in me as a player I'll listen to them."

In high school Fogler plays strong safety and tight end but has been told he's more likely to be a defensive end, linebacker or tight end in college.

At this time Fogler plans to visit the Bearcats on July 23-rd or 24-th to get more of a look at what they have to offer.

Bearcat Insider will follow up with Brian after his visit to see if he's able find what he's looking for from the Bearcats.
