Davon Custis A Surprise Visitor

One of Ohio's top prospects still left on the board is Columbus DeSales (Ohio) defensive end Davon Cusits. Saturday night Custis visited and watched the Battle of the Bell with his mother by his side.

Just a week prior to the Bearcats game against Miami one of Ohio's top remaining prospects made a trip to Cincinnati to play against one of the areas top teams. At that time he wasn't listing Cincinnati as one of his "Top Five" schools on his list. But Saturday night Davon Custis of Columbus DeSales High School was there with his mother taking in the game and having learned more about the University of Cincinnati.

"We want to learn as much as possible about all the schools showing interest in Davon," Stated his mother about their trip to Cincinnati for the Miami game. "We learned a lot by going there and spending time here at the school."

While Custis wasn't ready to place the Bearcats in his Top Five he didn't seem discouraged by what he witnessed.

Can the Bearcats sneak in and get Custis before all is said and done? That will be the job of Brian Kelly and Tim Hinton in the coming months as Custis looks to make his college choice with a top list of Notre Dame, Boston College, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Indiana with Stanford also being considered.
