At the Scout combine the biggest concern many had with Myers was his weight. That is no longer an issue as he's dropped some weight and is in great physical shape. While Myers impressed with his one-on-one skills in Pittsburgh the weight issue made many wonder is he'd have the ability to be considered a solid prospect for a BCS program.
Those worries can now be laid to rest as the 6-foot-3 Myers is no longer pushing the 300-pound mark and down to a more stable weight in the 208 range. Because of this Myers was much quicker during one-on-one drills and showed above average technique for a high school offensive lineman.
Projected as an inside lineman Myers has the size and ability to play in the Bearcats spread attack where a lot of zone blocking comes into play. Very aggressive in drills Myers turned several heads on the day.
We'll be checking to see if Jeffrey Myers did enough to impress the Bearcats to earn an offer soon.
