Game Balls Oregon State - Defense

Who earned Bearcat Insider games balls for their performance against Oregon State? Check it out and see.

Walt Stewart – LB

Stewart made his first career start one to remember as he turned in 4 total tackles with 2.5 sacks for a loss of 23 yards and one forced fumble. Having earned Scout Team honors last season made many feel Stewart was a player to keep an eye on this season and he didn't disappoint taking the place of an injured Curtis Young.

Drew Frey – S

Frey missed all the fun last week but the layoff was good as he recorded 12 total tackles with 1.5 for a loss of 11 yards. This could be the breakout year for the redshirt freshman if he can stay on the field and healthy.

J.K. Schaffer – LB

The sophomore has proven he's been well worth the scholarship he earned out of La Salle high school. On Saturday he posted 8 total tackles with 1 for a loss and an interception.

Andre Revels – LB

The senior continues to show he's a leader and looking to have a great senior season. On Saturday the Colerain product posted 9 total tackles and a pass breakup.

Demetrius Jones – LB

The former Notre Dame quarterback looks like he's becoming a natural linebacker with a really bright future. On Saturday he posted 7 total tackles with a forced fumble.

Robby Armstrong – LB

The Pennsylvania native was spotlighted on Bearcat Insider this week and went out and had a big game posting 7 total tackles with a sack for a 12-yard loss.
