Coaching Candidate Jeff Quinn

Now that Brian Kelly has left the sidelines of the University of Cincinnati it's time for the Bearcats to find a new head coach. Here is the look at one coach looking to get his chance and stay in Cincinnati.

One of the most trusted coaches under Brian Kelly has been Jeff Quinn. Having been on the sidelines for the past 21 years with Kelly give Quinn the ability to run a program and keep the momentum rolling.

While Brian Kelly is given credit for much of the offensive success it's been Quinn who works behind the scene hitting the X's & O's of what is seen on the field.

The runner-up for assistant coach of the year honors, Quinn is always up beat and enjoys working with the team. Players seem to enjoy being around the Bearcats offensive line coach and he'd be sure to hire from within the current staff.

Jeff Quinn is in his 26th season of coaching having coached at DePauw, Ohio Northern, Grand Valley State, Central Michigan and Cincinnati. He's been an offensive line coach and also associate head coach and offensive coordinator.

When Brian Kelly left Central Michigan it was Quinn who stayed behind and coached the team to a 31-14 victory in the Motor City Bowl.

While many feel Mike Thomas will look to hire a coach with head coaching experience Jeff Quinn might just be the coach capable of keeping the Bearcats winning ways going and stay in the Queen City longer than three years.
