Williams still weighing all options

Colerain junior Tyler Williams has been a frequent guest at Cincinnati's spring practices the last couple weeks, and as expected made an appearance at the UC spring game this past Saturday. Despite the weather, Williams has seen a lot he likes from the Cincinnati program.

"I like the style of the offense, I like how intense the coaches are with all the players and how prepared they were for the spring game," Tyler Williams said.

Last season at Colerain, Williams ran the ball 85 times for 893 yards and eight touchdowns. He also caught 10 passes for 103 yards and one score. That versatility has schools recruiting Williams at a couple of different positions. Some schools are looking at him as a running back, others as a slot receiver and kick returner.

"UC is recruiting me as a slot receiver, kick returner and punt returner," Williams said. "But it's different spots for each school."

Williams said he has no preference as to where he plays just wherever they need him.

Earlier this week Williams picked up an offer from Buffalo to go along with his offers from Cincinnati, Kent State and Ohio University. He is also considering West Virginia, Michigan, Louisville, Purdue and Miami University.

Williams has a busy weekend planed this weekend as he plans to visit West Virginia on Friday for the Mountaineers spring game, then up to Columbus for an Ohio State camp.

As of this point, Williams said it is too early to have a frontrunner and is still weighing all of his options.
