Bearcats Could Make the Cut With West

Three-star offensive lineman Zach West from Lexington (KY) Christian Academy holds nine scholarship offers, including one from Cincinnati. But where do the Bearcats stand with West?

2011 recruit Zach West has plenty of offers and said he plans to cut his list down to five before the summer concludes. However, before he does that he has a couple of visits and camps planned for the summer.

"We plan on visiting Cincinnati and Northwestern right now," West said. "Then I'm going to Tennessee's camp on Wednesday and Auburn's camp at the end of July."

West is not sure exactly when his visit will be to Cincinnati.

And where does Cincinnati stand with West as of right now?

"Right now they are definitely towards the top of my list," West said. "I don't really have a top-five or anything, but they're definitely towards the top of my list."

While Cincinnati maybe towards the top of West's list right now, they will have to fight off some top schools to earn the services of the offensive tackle.

West recently returned from a visit to Penn State earlier this week and was impressed with what he saw from the Nittany Lions. West also said that Tennessee will offer him with a good showing at their camp and that Auburn could do the same.

West is listed as the No. 16 offensive guard on Scout.com but says he is more of a tackle.
