2012 DE sees Clemson again

This 2012 defensive end from North Carolina has already visited Tigertown twice this year. The first was a three-day stay at Dabo Swinney's Football Camp. The second was an afternoon trip for the Presbyterian game.

DE Jonathan Bullard Profile

Jonathan Bullard was in town with his Crest High School (Shelby, N.C.) classmate/teammate Rhaheim Ledbetter. CUTigers caught up with Bullard recently for an update on his recruiting.

"I liked it. I liked it a lot. It was pretty good," he said.

That was the first game experience for Bullard, who spent three days at the Dabo Swinney Football Camp over the summer.

"It was real good. I liked the defensive end coach. I liked it. It was all right," he said.

That was the only camp Bullard attended last summer.

"I was supposed to go to N.C. State but I ended up not going because I just got back from Clemson and I was about to die," Bullard said.

He plans to head to N.C. State early next month for a game. Bullard would like to hit North Carolina for a game, too. UCLA invited him out for a visit.

During Crest's last game, against Shelby, Bullard had 9 tackles and 3 sacks.

"We've played three games this year and I have about four or five sacks. I don't know how many tackles. I'm leading the defensive line right now," he said.

When asked about his favorites, Bullard said, "To tell you the truth, I really like Clemson. I get a few letters from Florida. I would like to go down there."
