St. Pius X Catholic School (Atlanta, Ga.) junior Geno Smith already has a solid list of offers to his name.

Auburn, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Louisville have already offered.

"I've been to Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Georgia and a Florida game," he told CUTigers recently. "I'll be in Tennessee this weekend when they play Alabama."

Outside of the trip to Knoxville, Smith has yet to set any plans.

CUTigers asked about his interest in Clemson.

"I have some interest in Clemson," he said.

"I get some mail from them. That's about it. I get invites to the games."

Smith has not visited Clemson, but does have some knowledge of the Tigers.

"I know they were in the ACC Championship last year, but I need to learn more about them," he said.

It's too early for him to name a list of favorites.

"I'm really just open right now, trying to figure it all out," Smith said.

Early playing time is one factor that he'll be considering as he continues through the recruiting process.

"I want to go to a good school—academically, and a have a good relationship with the coaches," Smith said.

So far this season, he has 24 tackles, three interceptions and a pair of pass breakups.
