DT Nikita Whitlock -- He's considered undersized in the middle of the line, but he has excelled in the 3-4 defensive alignment as the nose tackle. At 5-foot-11, he pulled off the improbable by batting down two passes against N.C. State.
CB Kevin Johnson -- He's making big strides in the secondary and should be in line for his fourth consecutive starting assignment. He's a true freshman, but he's gaining valuable experience.

RB Jamie Harper -- Harper is big and bullish, and that should translate to easy yards against Wake Forest, which has the second-worst run defense in the ACC. He's coming off a 143-yard game at Florida State and is eager to keep his momentum going.
DE Da'Quan Bowers -- Bowers has been unstoppable against everyone, so there's no reason to think things should be any different against Wake Forest. Bowers, who leads the nation in sacks with 13.5, has a sack in eight consecutive games and will be eager to make it nine in a row against an offensive line that has allowed 22 sacks this season.
